What does Distance Reiki involve?

As we are all connected to each other on an energetic level we don’t need to be in the same room or even the same country for Reiki to work. Distance Reiki Healing can be sent across time and space.

The beautiful benefit of this treatment is that it can take place from the sanctuary of your own home.

In order for a firm connection to take place, we will talk on the phone prior to the treatment and set the intention for the session. It is recommended you lie down and rest for this duration. At the end of the session, I will call you again and give you some feedback about what surfaced for you.

Sessions are usually 45 minutes. Your first session will be 60 minutes as it will include an in-depth consultation.

How can Reiki help me?

Reiki is a holistic natural treatment. This means that it treats the whole person; body, emotions, and mind.

Our bodies often produce a symptom when a persistent problem stresses our bodies. We often want to treat the symptom because, usually, we are unconscious of the root cause. Reiki will always work for the highest good of the ‘Receiver’ and will work on your body at a much deeper level.     

Reiki can be used on any physical and emotional illness. Some examples where Reiki can help the body come back into balance is if you have stress, anxiety, insomnia, grief, depression, illness, PTSD, or undergone chemotherapy treatment.

What is Reiki?

Reiki existed long before the written word. The story we know today, originated in the mid 1800’s in Japan. It was discovered by Dr Mikao Usui who spent most of his life dedicated to the ancient science of healing.

The word Reiki can be broken down into; Rei which means ‘wisdom;’ and Ki which means ‘energy.’ Therefore, Reiki is the planet’s source or life energy that is guided by a universal wisdom.

Although Reiki’s roots are in ancient Eastern philosophies of health, it is used by many Western countries, including the UK, where the NHS now recommend it as one of their ‘complementary-alternate therapies.’
